Triage

Working the search-term columns, what each card says, and what every button sends to Google Ads.

What are the columns?

Search terms Adintel has sorted, in three columns: Negatives, Judgment calls and Opportunities. A term reaches Opportunities only once it has at least one conversion. Show no-action (audit) adds a fourth column of the terms sorted as No action, for a spot check. How triage sorts search terms gives the rules.

Show switches between To do, the terms waiting on you, In Google Ads, Dismissed and All. Source narrows the columns to the terms AI Max matched. Each column shows 25 cards a page.

What does a card say?

The term, the campaign types it ran in, the keywords that triggered it, and its spend, clicks, conversions and CTR. Then the model's confidence, such as 92% conf., and, on a waiting negative or opportunity, how often you have agreed with cards like it on this account. Lines appear when they apply:

  • A competitor's name, when the term names one; competitor terms are always yours to decide.
  • Sold here, when what the account sells holds the term's words.
  • Already stopped in every campaign it appeared in or Already stopped in some of its campaigns, naming the negative already in the account that stops it. Where it is stopped everywhere, a negative from the card sends nothing and is recorded as your decision.
  • Outdated context, when business context changed after the card was sorted.

Full reasoning opens why it was sorted that way.

How do I add a negative from a card?

Exclude this text: holds the term; shorten it to exclude a word rather than the whole term. Then choose where it goes: the account, the campaigns the term appeared in (the default, all ticked), the Search ad groups it appeared in, or a negative keyword list, existing or new. The ad group level is not offered for a term that ran only in Performance Max or Shopping. Pick the match type, exact by default, and Add negative writes it to Google Ads at once, logged. If the edited text would no longer stop the term on the card, the card says so before you send it.

How do I add an opportunity?

Converted in: shows where the term earned its conversions. Adds to Google Ads in: picks the ad group (as a keyword, with its match type) or the Performance Max asset group (as a search theme), and Add keyword or Add theme writes it at once.

What does No action do?

No action on a term already sorted that way confirms it in one click. On any other term it first asks why. Your reason goes to the model with your other decisions and guides how similar terms are sorted, so a reason such as "we sell baby costumes" carries over to them. Other actions shows the choices the card did not suggest, such as Make opportunity on a term it called a negative.

Every decision sticks. A term you decided is not asked about again unless new evidence reopens it.

How do I take a change back out?

A card under In Google Ads says Live in Google Ads and exactly where. Remove takes out what Adintel added; once nothing live remains, the card goes back to the queue. Anything that was already in the account before Adintel is left as it was, and the card stays under In Google Ads while that remains. A negative made once for a group is removed for the whole group, and the button says how many.

What are the group cards and Shared words?

Where several waiting terms share one decision, you make it once:

  • A competitor's terms on one card: exclude the competitor's name as one phrase negative, Leave it, or Decide each.
  • Variants, one term written several ways, on one card: an exact negative for each, one text that stops them all, or No action on all of them.
  • Shared words: a word or short phrase that several waiting negatives and judgment calls share, offered as one phrase negative only if it would not block something the account sells, a term you kept or added, a converting term, one of your keywords, or your brand names or must-win terms. Competitor terms are left out.

When can I approve in bulk?

Approve in bulk sits under Negatives and Opportunities. Cards are grouped by confidence, such as 80–89% confidence. A group opens once you have decided at least 50 cards like it, not counting bulk approvals, and agreed with at least 95% of them, because the confidence alone is the model's claim, not proof. Until then it says how far along you are. Once a group is open, one approval sends every term in the group where its own card would send it, each as its own logged change, after a confirm that lists the terms and what they spent in the last 60 days. An opportunity with no default destination stays on its own card.

What are the negative keyword lists?

The button above the columns opens the account's lists: what each holds, out of the 5,000 Google allows, and the campaigns it is attached to. You add to a list, or create one, from any negative's List level. Detach and, for a list Adintel created, Remove list ask first, since the searches it stopped can serve again.
