When access ends, and your data
What stops when a trial or plan ends, what stays readable for 30 days, and what is deleted after that.
Reviewed 22 October 2026
When does access end?
When a free trial ends without a plan, when a cancelled plan reaches the end of its period, or when a payment cannot be collected after Stripe's retries. The bar at the top of the page then says so, with Your account is paused. after a trial or a failed payment, or Your subscription has ended. after a cancellation, and the way back to a plan.
What stops, and what can I still do?
Syncing and analysis are off until you choose a plan. No new data comes in, and there is no briefing or briefing email, no new anomalies, no new search terms sorted, no suggestions and no nightly audit check.
You can still sign in and read everything that is there, including the record of every change Adintel made. You can still take back a change Adintel made, with Undo or Remove, and you can still connect a Google login. Anything else that costs a new read or a new change, such as applying a negative or running an audit, asks you to choose a plan first.
How long does the data stay?
30 days from the day access ended. Choose a plan in that time and Adintel picks up where it left off, with no reconnecting and nothing to set up again. Five days before anything is deleted we email you, naming the accounts the deletion covers.
What is deleted after 30 days?
- The Google Ads data Adintel synced for you, and everything built from it: the analysis, audits, verdicts and the record of changes.
- Your saved Google connection, which is also revoked at Google, so Adintel can no longer reach your accounts. If another Adintel user has connected the same Google login, only your copy is deleted and their access stays.
- Your briefings.
If another Adintel user also has access to one of your Google Ads accounts, that account's data is kept for them.
What is kept, and why?
Your sign-in email address, your name and company and the answers you gave when you signed up, the record of your plan and payments and of the emails we sent you, and the customer IDs of the deleted accounts and of accounts used in a free trial. We need them to run billing, meet legal and tax obligations, show what was deleted, and allow each Google Ads account one free trial. Ask us and we will also delete your sign-in account, apart from records the law requires us to keep. Deleted data can stay in our database provider's backups for a short time, until those backups expire.
Can I have my data deleted sooner, or stop Adintel reaching my accounts?
Yes. Email support@adintel.io to have your data deleted, or to ask what we hold about you.
To stop syncing one account, take it off your selection on the Connect page; its data stays readable. To stop Adintel reaching a Google login at all, remove Adintel in your Google Account's third-party access settings, at any time.
Still need a hand? Email support@adintel.io and a person replies.
